Join with us and thousands of others and register as an organ donor — it’s a very easy process. Talk with friends and family members and encourage them to consider becoming organ donors as well. And if you have already signed an organ donor card, make sure your family knows about it. Remember — if they don’t know of your decision, they can’t ensure that your wishes will be met.

For more information on organ donation, please visit the Department of Health and Human Service's website or the Coalition on Donation’s website . This very appropriately named Web site provides facts and identifies common misconceptions about organ donation, and it offers suggestions for simple things you can do to increase awareness about this important public health issue.
