cases per 100,000 population, a high rate of high school
graduation with 83.7 percent of incoming ninth graders who
graduate within four years and few poor mental and physical health
days per month at 2.4 days and 2.7 days, respectively, in the
previous 30 days.
Challenges:
Challenges include a high prevalence of binge drinking at 18.1
percent of the population, limited access to primary care with
106.3 primary care physicians per 100,000 population and a high
occupational fatalities rate at 9.4 deaths per 100,000 workers.

year, the percentage of children in poverty decreased from 16.0
percent to 13.4 percent of persons under age 18.
